Love That Gives — paperback
Few subjects generate as much discussion

Two positions. And between them, sincere believers who want the truth.

One view

Tithing remains a binding obligation under the New Covenant.

Another view

Tithing belonged exclusively to the Old Covenant and has no place today.

Between these positions are sincere believers who want to understand what Scripture actually teaches.

Love That Gives was written for those believers.

“The goal is not to make believers free from giving but free in giving.”

About the book

Born out of a simple but important question: what does Scripture actually teach?

Over the years, Louis Akanimo encountered sincere believers who desired to honour God with their resources but were often uncertain about how biblical giving should be practised under the New Covenant. Many had inherited strong convictions about tithing but had never personally examined the biblical evidence behind those beliefs.

Driven by a desire for clarity rather than controversy, he embarked on a careful study of Scripture, tracing the themes of tithing, stewardship, generosity, ministry support, and worship throughout the biblical narrative. The result is a thoughtful and accessible guide that helps believers move beyond assumptions and discover a richer, grace-filled vision of giving inspired by understanding and motivated by love.

“The pages that follow do not ask whether believers should become less generous. They ask whether generosity can be grounded more firmly in truth.”
